 TextileTScreen Printing Press Operator  will be responsible for not only job duties listed below but also on a need by basis, maintaining the press equipment and ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, punctual individuals with mechanical aptitude and a desire to work as part of a team in a deadline-oriented environment are ideal candidates.
Job Duties & Requirements
  • Related experience in the printing industry and ability to operate automatic press as well as minimal knowledge of manual application
  • Knowledge of colour matching, shooting, coating and reclaiming screens
  • Ability to meet established deadlines, production minimums and standards.
  • Ability to work under potentially stressful conditions in a fast paced environment.
  • Must have demonstrated knowledge of product flow, press operation, trouble shooting and leadership skills. A willingness to take on a leadership role is necessary.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions on work orders and/or verbally
  • Must consistently have a positive attitude toward providing excellent service and co-workers.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time; work in and around a variety of industrial machinery and presses; occasionally climb; effectively communicate and listen.
